Under the sponsorship of the Vice Dean of Al-Qunfudhah College of Computer Sciences, Amani bint Hamad bin Mansour Al-She’iby, the activities committee, headed by Mrs. Mona Al-Zahrani, Mrs. Zeinab Al-Hakmi and Mrs. Khadija Al-Shaikhy, organized a meeting with students and staff of Al-Qunfudhah First Secondary School on Tuesday, 2/6/1438 Hijri.

The Faculty organizers received the staff of the First Secondary School, led by the headmistress Mrs. Salma Othman, Student Guide Mrs. A’isha Al-khath’ami, and teachers Mrs. Fatemah Al-Ghamedi, Mrs. Hessa Al-Shamarani and Mrs. Mona Al-Golaimi.

The event was started by reciting some verses of the Holy Quran, followed by a welcoming speech by Dr. Amany Al-She’iby, in which she welcomed the visitors and wished best of luck for the students in their educational and career life. Then student Maram Jailan Al-Khairy made an introductory presentation about the College that included information about its establishment, departments, credit hours and the future career opportunities it opens for its graduates. She also talked about the extensive efforts exerted by the College to get academic accreditation.

Then, discussion was opened for questions about the college and its departments that were answered by Mrs. Rozy Awny, supervisor of the Computer Sciences Department. The meeting also included some entertainment activities for students of the First Secondary School and its staff and employees.

The meeting was concluded with a tour in the College facilities and buildings and giving the school students the College guidebook that includes different information about the College including its establishment, departments and credit hours.
