In the context of promoting communication to develop cooperation between the colleges, a virtual meeting was held between the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, represented by the UQU Vice President for Branches, Dr. Idris bin Abdu Ali Al-Kinani, and Al-Qunfudhah University College, represented by His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad bin Marei Al-Hazimi, as well as a number of vice deans and heads of the departments.

His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education for Branches touched on a number of issues, as follows:

• Introducing the goals of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education
• Introducing the departments of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education
• Introducing the qualifying programs offered by the college
• Introducing diploma programs offered by the college
• Introducing the types of diplomas that can be implemented by the college
• Listing the requirements for diplomas that can be implemented by the college
• Introducing the training programs implemented by the college
• Listing the requirements for implementing training programs and courses
• Explaining the financial advantages of the programs, diplomas and training courses implemented by the College of Community Service and Continuing Education
• Urging the departments of Al-Qunfudhah University College to cooperate with the College of Community Service and Continuing Education to offer diplomas and training courses that serve community members.

Next, the door for inquiries and discussions was opened for the participants to direct their questions and suggestions to their excellencies the vice deans and heads of the departments at Al-Qunfudhah University College. Their excellencies the vice deans and heads of the departments expressed their desire to cooperate with the College of Community Service and Continuing Education in implementing several programs that serve the community members.

His Excellency the Vice Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College explained that Al-Qunfudhah University College is an attractive educational environment. He noted that it has the capabilities and human resources capable of implementing a number of programs affiliated with the College of Community Service and Continuing Education.

The meeting came to the conclusion that recommendations should be made that stipulate the importance of strengthening cooperation between Al-Qunfudhah University College and the Deanship of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education in Al-Qunfudhah, and the continuation of meetings between them.

This cooperation comes within the framework of providing programs, diplomas, and new courses that are akin to the aspirations of the local community and its development needs, in light of our ambitious Saudi Vision 2030.
