Introductory Meeting for New Female Students at the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (Female Section)

Under the generous patronage of the administration of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, the college held an introductory meeting for the new students to welcome them and introduce them to the college’s vision, goals, systems, and study plan for the Department of Computer Sciences. The event was held remotely on Thursday, 22 Muharram 1442 A.H., through the WebEx program.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Her Excellency the Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Sciences, Ms. Mona Al-Oufi, in which she encouraged the students to start studying diligently and earnestly. Next was a speech by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Hanan Al-Ghamdi, in which she welcomed the new students. After this, Prof. Mona Al-Oufi introduced the students to the college’s vision and goals, and reviewed with them the study plan of the Department of Computer Sciences, as well as the academic movements that the students can make. Finally, she advised them to start the school year enthusiastically.

Following this, some pieces of advice were presented by the student Yusra Al-Suhaimi, on behalf of the fifth-level students, to the new students. The student Fatima Al-Ghamdi and the department graduate Arwa Al-Shanbari also talked about their study experience inside the college and the importance of organizing your day at college, studying early, and setting priorities.

The meeting was concluded by an open time for listening and answering the questions asked by the female students.
