The primary goal of academic advising is to help students choose the appropriate academic majors according to their scientific potential, interests, and the labor market needs. The academic advisor introduces the student to the college, its deanship, and its supporting departments, and helps them obtain the college services in cooperation and coordination with the concerned department in the college.
