Within the care and support of His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University to activate cooperation and joint work among different entities in the university, especially in matters related to community service and development, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Community Service and Continuing Education, Prof. Tawfiq bin Ali Al-Sharif, held a meeting with His Excellency the Dean of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, Dr. Bassim bin Omar Qadi.

During the meeting, aspects of cooperation in the field of training between the two sides were discussed. The College of Community Service and Continuing Education possesses a great amount of experience in managing training, holding courses, and developing programs, while the institute possesses a great deal of research, studies and well-versed researchers in the field of Hajj and Umrah services. Cooperation between the two sides will provide distinguished courses and training programs that serve greatly in the field of Hajj and Umrah services. These aspects of cooperation are in conformity with the care of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, may Allah grant it glory, to continuously promote and develop Hajj and Umrah services. They are also in harmony with the programs of the state to achieve this blessed goal, especially with the approval of the Pilgrims and Visitors' Program.

The two sides agreed on granting the Training Department the right to coordinate and arrange with the institute to activate cooperation and partnership in the field of Hajj and Umrah services. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Head of the Training Department, His Excellency Prof. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Furaih.
