Stemming from the belief of the Vice Deanship of Al-Qunfudhah University College for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research in the importance of the role of the academic staff member in raising the scientific level of the university students and empowering them to acquire the academic and life skills needed to keep pace with the developments of the era, as well as its desire to exploit the distinctive experience of its staff in relation to teaching strategies implemented in the various departments pertaining to the female section in the college, and the exchange of experiences between them, and the discussion of the most important challenges and obstacles that face them in implementing these strategies in the college in particular and the university teaching in general, and their aspirations to develop them according to the best and latest global standards, this First Scientific Forum will be held under the title of "Strategies of University Teaching: Reality and Aspirations."

The Vice Deanship is also pleased to invite the honorable sisters of the Colleges of Medicine and Computing at Al-Qunfudhah Branch to contribute to the activities of this forum, and enrich it with their distinguished experiences and visions in this field, which is witnessing increasing interest on a local, regional, and international scale.

Themes of the Forum:

• First theme: Fields of Shari`ah and Human Sciences
• Second theme: Fields of Educational and Social Sciences
• Third theme: Fields of Pure and Applied Sciences.

Participation Conditions:

• The participant must be one of the academic staff members in one of Al-Qunfudhah College branches.
• The title of the paper must be directly connected with the title of the forum.
• The paper or research should not be less than 10 pages and not more than 20 pages (Traditional Arabic font, 16-point font size, double spaced).
• The principles of scientific documentation approved by Umm Al-Qura University must be adhered to by all participants, each according to her specialization.

Important Dates

• The deadline for receiving abstracts and CVs is Sunday, 22 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., corresponding to 16 February 2020.
• The deadline for receiving worksheets is Tuesday, 1 Rajab, 1441 A.H., corresponding to 25 February 2020.
