As part of the celebrations held by Al-Qunfudhah University College (female section) for its male and female personnel, an honoring ceremony was organized under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Omar Al-Hazzazi, Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the supervision of Her Excellency Dr. Sharifah Eissa Al-Hazimi, the College Vice Dean, by the college administration. The ceremony was held on Wednesday, 27 Jumada Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. to honor the college's retired male and female personnel, after they spent many years in the service of the college and its students.

The ceremony program was presented by the Director of the Extension Administration, Professor Maha Al-Hazimi, in the presence of the college vice deans, the Assistant Director of the Administration, the administrative and academic members, and the staff of the administrative and supervisory body.

The ceremony started with a recitation of the Qur'an, followed by the Royal Salute. The Vice Dean of the College then delivered a speech in which she welcomed the honored staff members. She said in her speech, "We are pleased and happy to join you on this day and share with you a ceremony of loyalty and recognition, to pay honor to our distinguished colleagues from among the male and female staff." She added that this ceremony was only held as an expression of loyalty to deserving people. She then extended many thanks and appreciation to the retired personnel for their devoted dedication in serving the college and assisting the students and employees. She said that whatever she offered them would not do justice to the concrete efforts they made throughout the duration of their service. Finally, she asked Allah to bestow upon them happiness in all other stages in their lives.

During her speech, the Assistant Director of the College, Ms. Zahraa Al-Mahmoudi, stated that today's ceremony was a gesture of loyalty and appreciation for the retired personnel's years of continuous giving and sincerity. She also thanked them for the blessed efforts and kind contributions they made, which were full of generosity, during their work and career in the college. She wished them all prosperity and wellbeing. Within the same context, the Director and Coordinator of the Media Center at Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Laila Al-Sheikhi, delivered a speech which began with the words, "We are paying honor to this constellation of retired male and female employees. Today is a day of loyalty. You have given the best years of your life, and offered your best efforts to serve your country. You are leaving your university after having made an eternal imprint on the educational process. We will not say goodbye, but rather, 'See you in the near future.' Our paths will meet again."

This was followed by a presentation on the biography of the honored retired staff. The retired male and female employees valued this honoring ceremony and the effort made by the College Vice Dean and her colleagues. They expressed how deeply affected they were by the love, recognition and loyalty they received from everyone. At the end of the ceremony, the College Vice Dean thanked all the organizers and participants of the event. She presented the honored employees with gifts and flower bouquets. All attendees then enjoyed the buffet prepared to celebrate this occasion. The ceremony was well received by all the retired staff, who expressed their happiness with this honor.
