The Counseling and Guidance Unit in the College Extension in Al-Qunfudhah and the Department of Islamic Studies, in cooperation with the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah University College (female section), held a program entitled "Be Inspiring." The program was presented by Dr. Nabila Al-Turki, with the participation of a distinguished group of students from the Department of Islamic Studies, on Wednesday, 24 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1441 A.H., at 9:00 a.m. in Activities Hall 5.

The program started with a recitation of the Glorious Qur'an, followed by a segment entitled "O Allah, Make Me Blessed," which aimed to highlight the meaning of "blessing" and the manifestations of the divine blessing in our lives and the ways to gain it.

The second theme of the program was entitled "Hold Fast to the Scripture," which aimed to clarify the meaning of adherence and strength in this context. It also underlined the source of the strength that we need to improve and refine ourselves and attain success, with the help and blessing of Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He). Indeed, Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) loves the strong believer who seeks His help in all aspects of his life. Such a believer relishes the sweetness of the heart's assurance with firm belief, optimism, and genuine reliance on Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He).

The third theme of the program was entitled "I Have a Dream," and touched on the ways to achieve one's dreams through showcasing real-life stories and attitudes. The fourth theme was entitled "A Good Friend," and underlined the blessing of having a good righteous friend in this worldly life to remind you of Allah whenever your faith grows weaker, revive hope within you whenever it fades away, and recharge your determination whenever it wilts. The segment highlighted the great blessing of having such a good and righteous friend, emphasizing the meaning of true friendship and the need to choose good and righteous friends who will guide you to the path of righteousness. It also underlined the rights and responsibilities of friends towards one another.

The fifth and last theme of the program was entitled "I Have a Palm-cutting in My Hands," and aimed to infer lessons from the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), reading: "If the Final Hour comes while you have a palm-cutting in your hands, and it is possible to plant it before the Hour comes, you should plant it!" One of the important lessons deduced from this Hadith is the importance of positive actions in a Muslim person's life. A Muslim should positively contribute to life as much as they can, and perform positive actions to the best of their ability, even in the very last moments of their life on Earth! At the end of the program, gifts that include stimulating and inspiring phrases were distributed to the attendees.
