Ms. Amira Al-Luqmani, lecturer at the Department of Basic Sciences, Biology, held a training course entitled, "Laboratory Security and Safety", for two hours on Monday, 7 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1441 A.H. The course began with an introduction to laboratory safety, which was followed by an outline of personal protective equipment in the lab, the types of risks in laboratories, as well as the security and safety signs and symbols found in the laboratory. She then touched on the meanings and symbols on the chemical packs.
