With Allah's grace and support, the laboratories of the Basic Sciences Department were inaugurated at Adham University College on Monday, 29 Safar 1441 A.H. The supervisor of the Vice Deanship of Adham University College, Dr. Nuhair Taha, sponsored this inauguration event on behalf of the Dean of the College, Dr. Saeed bin Salih Al-Bihairi, in the presence of a number of the members and female students of the Department of Biology. The Deputy Head of the Basic Sciences Department, Ms. Nouf Al-Zahrani, supervised the inauguration.

Nine laboratories were inaugurated for bachelor's students: two for the physics course, two for the chemistry course, and five for the biology course. The laboratories were equipped with the most advanced laboratory and research equipment required for students of the biology specialty.

We thank all those who contributed to and helped in this achievement from the Department Academic Staff and the lab technician Ms. Sawsan Al-Maliki. We extend special thanks to His Excellency Prof. Muataz Darweesh for his distinctive endeavors and efforts. Moreover, we extend our thanks to the Supervisor of the Vice Deanship of the College, Dr. Nuhair Taha, for her continued follow up and concern. We are also grateful to His Excellency the Dean of the College, Dr. Saeed Al-Bihairi, for his sincere and fruitful efforts in promoting the college, asking Allah to make this achievement a promising start for the development of the University College research and the renaissance of our beloved region and country.
