The College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (Female Section) Holds the Concluding Ceremony for the Activities

Under the generous auspices of the Dean of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Jabir Al-Zahrani, and in the presence of the Vice Dean of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Hanan bint Musfir Al-Ghamdi, the concluding ceremony for the activities was held on Monday, 10 Sha`ban, 1440 A.H., at the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah.

The ceremony began with the royal anthem, followed by a recitation of the Noble Qur'an. Next, a video of the achievements of the activities during the academic year 1439/1440 A.H. was displayed. After that, the Vice Dean of the College honored the academic staff, followed by the female administrators and the security, for their distinctive efforts during the year, praising and thanking them.

The names of the female winners in the contest of the "Best Graduation Project" were then announced. The projects are as follows:

  • The project that won the first place was "BAYTAR DRUG-DRUG INTERACTION SYSTEM", which was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Mona Al-Oufi, may Allah protect her.
  • The project that won the second place was "DETECTING FRAUD ACCOUNTS IN TWITTER", which was carried out under the supervision of Prof. Mona Al-Oufi, may Allah protect her.
  • The project that won the third place was "COURSE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM ACCORDING TO ABET", which was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Abdul-Kareem Abdul-Qadir, may Allah protect him.

The female students who won the first three places then stood up in front of the attendees to explain their projects, which were praised and admired by everyone. The students were honored by receiving shields and certificates from the Dean of the College. Next, a number of female students displayed the outstanding projects which they had carried out during the second semester.

In conclusion, the female students of the Computer Club were honored for the great efforts they exerted in the success of the activities.
