Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Education and the Assistant General Director of Education for Educational Affairs, the College of Education hosted the First 'Athar [Effect]' Training Forum. The forum was organized by the General Directorate of Education in Makkah Al-Mukarramah to transfer information about the experiments and experiences of teachers who received external scholarships to their colleagues. It was held under the slogan "From Teacher to Teacher." The activity was attended by the vice deans of the College of Education, heads of departments, academic staff, the director of Training and Scholarships Department at the General Directorate of Education, and education officials. More than 200 teachers and headmasters participated in the forum.

The program lasted for two days, during which ten scientific posters and some field experiences were presented. During the forum, eleven training programs dealing with several educational topics were tackled.

The General Director of Education in Makkah thanked the College of Education for hosting the forum. On his part, His Excellency the Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ali Al-Matrafi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to his Excellency the President of the University for his support of the College of Education.
