Within the framework of the partnership between the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah and the Education Department in Al-Qunfudhah, the College organized a training course on First Aid Skills for the health workers at Al-Quoz schools on Wednesday, 6 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H.

The training was conducted at the Emergency Medical Services Department at the College under the supervision of Prof. Ashraf Awais, the General Supervisor of the Department, and with the assistance of Mr. Husayn Muhammad Hasan Al-Nashiri, a teaching assistant at the Department.

The training included how to deal with cases of rhinorrhagia, different types of wounds, fractures, burns and cases of chocking, as well as how to deal with cases of fainting and diabetic coma. It also included how to open the airway and to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

His Excellency Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, the Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, and His Excellency Prof. Ashraf Awais handed the course certificates to the attendees, thanking them for their active and positive attendance in the course, and wishing them future success.
