Under the noble patronage of the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Yassin Al-Zobaidy, the supervision of the College Vice Dean,  Dr. Nowar BaJabir, and the guidance of the Vice Dean for Community Service, Dr. Aly Al-`Isa, the college organized an awareness lecture entitled "Diabetes: Causes, Complications, and Protection Methods" in collaboration with the Health Affairs Directorate on Thursday Rabi` Al-Awwal 14, 1440 A.H. The lecture was attended by the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, academic staff, and students.   
 

Alongside the event, the English Language Department held a diabetes exhibition, including awareness banners and brochures with healthy eating tips under the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department Mrs. Manal Al-Lihiany, academic staff and the students.  

  
At the conclusion of the event, the staff of the Health Affairs Directorate extended thanks to the college for raising awareness of the disease.
