The College of Computer in Al-Qunfudah (Girls Section), in partnership with the Health Affairs Directorate, launched an awareness campaign for the early detection of breast cancer, on Wednesday, 1-2-1440 AH (10\10\2018).

The medical staff, affiliated to the Health Affairs Directorate, participated in the campaign. A cultural lecture was delivered by Dr. Alwaya Ba-Wahab, by the participation of Aml Ba-snouda, a nurse; Manal Al-Hendi, nutrition specialist; and Aysha Al-Sharif,  social service specialist, in addition to the documentation and support of Hoda Al-Faqih, a photographer.

After that, the attendees went to the exhibition organized within the campaign that was organized by the participation of the female students of the Computer Club and the Deanship of Preparatory Year in Al-Qunfudah, in celebration of this important day for each woman. This has had a positive impact on spreading awareness among female affiliates and students alike.

At the end of the program, Dr. Hanan Al-Ghamdi, vice-dean of the College of Computer, and Dr. Hana Nada, the academic advisor in the Preparatory Year Deanship, presented certificates of thanks to all those who contributed to the success and activation of this campaign.
