Arabic Language Club at Female Student Section Launches

Under the auspices of Dr. Hashim al-Samadani, Dean of the University College in Al-Gunfudah and under the guidance and patronage of Vice-Deanship for Student Affair at the female student section in Al-Gunfudah, the "Home Imprint" program was launched thanks to efforts made by the Arabic Language Club at the Department of Arabic Language at the college.

The event started Tuesday, 27/06/1437 AH at 10:00 a.m. in presence the Vice-Dean of the College Dr. Nuwair Bajaber, Vice-Dean for Female Student Affairs Dr. Sharifa al-Hazmi, Supervisor of Department of Arabic Language Dr. Rabi'ah al-Mubarak, members and a crowd of female students. The campaign coincided with another campaign launched by education sectors for raising students' awareness of how to combat deviant thought, reinforce sense of belonging to one's home country and being justly balanced and moderate. The female students proved their creativity while expressing the feelings of love, loyalty and belonging to their home country through amazing poems and national songs and also by designing a number of brochures expressing their imprint for their beloved home country and praying to Allah to protect the government and people of KSA.

Under supervision of Ms. Amal Waslati and in presence of Supervisor of Department of English Language Ms. Omayah al-Fahmawi and the members of the Department at the College's stage at 12 p.m., the English Language Club launched the first online magazine in English which won the admiration of all the audience for its distinctive design and valuable scientific content. An integrated program for this was designed in presence of a crowd of female students.

It is worth noting that the Vice-Dean of the College expressed her thanks and gratitude to female students for their creativity and excellence. She also gave special thanks to the Vice-Deanship for Student Affairs for support, follow-up and creativity in student activities.
