The University College in Adham has held a training workshop about the (Requirements of Quality and Accreditation). It was delivered by Dr. Hossam Mohamed Al-Desouky, the Adviser of the Deanship of University Development and Quality, on Tuesday and Wednesday 11-12 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH, as Tuesday was for the boys section in Al-Ja’iza, and Wednesday was for the girls section in Adham.

Throughout the period of the workshop, the main focus was on:

  • The standards of the Education Evaluation Authority - The National Center for Evaluation and Accreditation - Institutional and Programmatic standards
  • The main and sub performance indicators accredited from the university and how to meet them (statistics - questionnaires).
  • The main requirements of institutional accreditation by university programs.
  • The most important forms and reports of the Education Evaluation Authority and how to meet them.  

The following main and sub aspects were covered:

  • The institutional and programmatic standards of the Education Evaluation Authority.
    • The definition of the main standard, sub standard, and practice.
    • Distinguishing between institutional and programmatic standards.
    • A quick presentation of some quality practices.
    • The type of required evidence to meet the practices.
  • Main and sub performance indicators.
    • The definition of an indicator and how to meet it.
    • The most important required statistics to meet some indicators.
    • Presentation of the most important required questionnaires to meet some indicators.
  • The requirements of institutional accreditation by university programs.
  • The most important forms and reports of the Education Evaluation Authority and how to meet them. 
    • Description of courses form.
    • Report of courses form.
    • Description of program form.
    • Annual program report form.
