With the support of Dr. Yassin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudah, the Vice-Deanship for Academic Development and Quality, organized, on Wednesday 12-06-1439 AH, the workshop “Documents Required for Institutional Accreditation” at the college theater.
The workshop was led and presented by Dr. Saleh Mousa Al-Zaharani, vice dean of the Vice-Deanship for Academic Development and Quality. He welcomed the attendees and then explained the importance of the workshop topic as well as the efforts of the university so as to obtain the accreditation.
Firstly, the vice dean discussed the action plan for the upcoming period and what is needed, including how to fill in the files, so as to obtain the academic accreditation. CDs for each department and documents explaining that had been distributed.
Each of the requirements of institutional accreditation, a simplified explanation for them and how to fill in these files had been also broached during the workshop. He also explained that from next week there will be successive workshops with the committees of all departments in order to fill in the remaining forms practically during the workshop.
The members of the college’s quality committees as well as all the departments’ quality committees attended the workshop, which witnessed positive interaction and the members raised questions. Dr. Saleh Mousa Al-Zaharani, in turn, answered all their questions and referred that he is ready to receive any inquiries at his office.
