Coordination meeting between faculty of Education and Mecca Education to achieve educational integration

The third meeting between Umm Al-Qura University represented in Faculty of Education and Mecca Education, has been held on 8th of Ramadan 1437 AH, under the title of “Educational and learning integration”, in the presence of the General Director of education in Holy Mecca region, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, the faculty vice deanships, departments heads, and some educational leaders in Holy Mecca. The objective of the meeting was to discuss a number of important topics to achieve the educational integration to achieve the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, according to the national transformation program requirements.

Dr. Ali Bin Mosleh Matrafi, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, started the meeting with a welcoming speech in which he welcomed the Director General of Education in Mecca region and educational leaders. He illustrated that the integration between the Holy Mecca education and the Faculty of Education will positively reflect on the development of education in Holy Mecca, and achieve qualitative positive attitudes  to achieve integration objective between higher education and general education .

Mr. Mohammed Bin Mahdi Al Harthy, the Director General of Education in Mecca region, then addressed a number of vital educational issues which need constructive cooperation between Umm Al-Qura University represented in the Faculty of Education and the education of Mecca. He stated that the long and deep rooted history of the Faculty of Education requires us to benefit from the academic expertise and research talents that enrich the faculty and harnessed in cooperation through formation of scientific teams to study some issues.

After that, Dr. Fahad Al-Zahrani, the meeting coordinator discussed the meeting topics and showed the proposed topics. After discussion and sharing of views and discussion, the meeting reached a number of recommendations and suggestions and forming joint teams on them. One of the suggestions reached by the meeting, formation of a joint coordinating council, and the nomination of the Secretariat of the Council to follow up on successive monthly meetings. Dr. Suhail Bin Salim Al-Harbi, the Vice Deanship of educational affairs in Faculty of Education, and Dr. Fahd Gharam Allah Al Zahrani, Director of National education have been nominated for tasks of coordination and perform the secretariat of the Council and follow-up recommendations, and  all respect related to administrative and organizational matters of the Council.
