Under the auspices of the Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Hashem Bin Ahmed Al-Samadani, the college organized an induction program for 60 high school students from Al-Qunfudhah, on Wednesday, Rajab 19, 1437H. The students were greeted by the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, Dr. Hussein Bin Daif Allah Al-Maleki, on behalf of the dean of the college.
Accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Abul Saud and Dr. Muhammad Tulaihah, the students went to the theatre of the college where Dr. Al-Maleki gave a presentation on the stature and nobility of Umm al-Qura University and its colleges. The presentation focused on the academic disciplines of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah and the fields of employment of each discipline. Adding to this, Dr. Al-Maleki explained the services and activities offered by the college in the fields of education, culture and sports, under the support and guidance of the Dean of the college and the UQU President Dr. Bakri Bin Maatouq Assas.
After that, students and the accompanying group visited the chemistry, physics and biology laboratories, as well as the library, the halls and the sports facilities. As the visit came to an end, the Students Supervisor, Mr. Muhammad Al-Shutairi, thanked the deanship of the college for their kind hospitality and for offering such an opportunity for high school students to get introduced to the college.
