Jawdah (Quality) in Arabic language means ‘good’ which is the opposite of ‘bad’.
Quality as an administrative terminology means mastering of work in such a manner that achieves its objectives accurately while striving for continuous development.
Quality System: Organizational Structure, tasks, and the adopted procedures and policies
Quality Guide is a document defining general parameters of the applied quality system. It includes a number of documents necessary for work implementation.
Quality Assurance: Developing a system for following up and assessing performance, identifying weaknesses and strengths, providing improvement plans and setting implementation priorities.
The National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) is a Saudi government institution which supervises the academic assessment and accreditation in the Kingdom and the accreditation of all higher education institutions. It was founded in 2004 A.C., and relate administratively to the Higher Council of Education in Saudi Arabia.
Academic accreditation is an official certificate awarded by a recognized commission, confirming that the educational program or educational institution meets the required criteria.
Or it is the official recognition of the eligibility of an educational institution to perform its tasks, and that it has fulfilled the required conditions and standards and become capable of achieving necessary quality objectives in all its specialized academic programs and can maintain its growth and development.
The institutional accreditation is the total accreditation of an institution according to specific standards on how the facilities and resources are concerned, including the institution staff, the provision of the supportive academic and students services and the curricula, in addition to the achievement levels of the students, academic staff, and other elements of an educational institution.
The program accreditation is a certificate for a specific study program whose activities, procedures, processes, learning resources and used teaching processes, support services, and the volume of education obtained by students, are in line with the required standards of the qualification awarded by it.
The academic accreditation achieves many benefits for the educational institution and its programs, including;

Developed Standards for Program Accreditation: The National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment has approved six standards for the program accreditation as follows;
First: Committee Mission and Objectives Standard and Program Management and Assuring Its Quality
Second: Committee Teaching and Learning Standard
Third: Committee Academic Staff Standard
Fourth: Committee Leaning Resources, Facilities, and Equipment Standard
