The Mathematics Department was established in 1407 Hijri when Al-Qunfudhah Teachers College was established and during its affiliation to the Ministry of Education, to grant its students the middle diploma. The program was developed later to be the bachelor degree in Mathematics for Elementary Education. The College was later affiliated to Umm Al-Qura University and renamed as Al-Qunfudhah University College in 1428 and the Department started to apply the University’s plan for the Mathematics Department.
