Abstract

This study sheds light on the eloquence and predominance found in the honorable hadith of the Prophet (PBUH), as well as the understanding of its concept among linguists, grammarians, and rhetoricians. The study falls within the realm of Badi' science and its investigative methods. It employs a non-statistical, analytical, and descriptive approach to reveal the intricacies of overriding within the discourse structure, while highlighting its characteristics and aesthetics. The method of rhetorical overriding takes on various forms, and its study varies according to stylistic phenomena and the rhetorical intentions of the speaker. This study showcases the greatness of the prophetic discourse and the perfection of the Prophet's eloquence, may God bless him and grant him peace. It also demonstrates that the Prophet, may God's prayers and peace be upon him, deliberately utilized the style of overriding abundantly, thereby emphasizing the multitude of its images, patterns, and purposes.
