Abstract:

This study aimed to explore the predictive ability of some demographic variables relevant to the Arab people’s worried about the infection Corona virous, and to identify the level of anxiety of infection the coronavirus. It also aimed to find out if there were statistically significant differences in the level of anxiety in infection the virus that could be attributed to the variables of the study. The researcher used stepwise regression analysis, and a scale was built (anxiety of infection the corona virus). The validity of the scale was verified by using exploratory factor analysis. It was applied to a sample consisting of (2931) individuals distributed over different geographical regions in the Arab world. The sample was chosen by the snowball.  The results showed that of each of the variables (educational qualification, gender, geographic area, and age) had contributed in explaining the variation of the level of worry about infection the virus in a statistically significant way. Also showed that the level of worried about infection the virus was average, and the presence of statistically significant differences in favor of (the Afro- Arab region, the secondary school educational qualification or below, housewives, I do not work, and females).
