It is an administrative supervisory unit linked to the UQU Vice President. It is concerned with inventory control in the main repositories of the university and its colleges located outside the headquarters. It is also concerned with monitoring property under the care of the different sectors of the university, in accordance with article (24) of the rules and procedures of government warehouses.
Monitoring stock movements to ensure that warehouse work continues regularly. - Determining storage levels to ensure the continuity of the warehouse work on a regular basis. - Exercising inventory to facilitate the tasks of the external control of warehouses by different authorities. - Discovering errors quickly and trying to avoid them in the future. - Preserving state property by reducing the loss, damage or obsolescence of the items.
A: Personal items, such as laptops and movable office supplies, which are procured by some employees of the university at their own expense, do not fall under the property of the university.
