The employee is entitled to take four days in one week as leave without pay, but the employee must have a regular leave balance to be entitled to do this.
The employee is eligible for a sick leave of seven days through out the Hijri year, if the medical report is issued by the one-day surgery clinics and national hospitals.
The exceptional leave is given after the approval of the direct manager and the approval of the authorized person (the UQU President). Two years exceptional leave may be taken every five years.
The employee is entitled to 108 days regular leave, if he is less than 50 years old and his tenure is less than 25 years. If he is 50 years or older and his tenure is at least 25 years, he is entitled to 144 days during the year.
