Historical Background:
After the separation of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU) from King Abdulaziz University (KAU), the Deanship of Faculty Members and Employee Affairs at the UQU was established and given several names during the past period. The various names the deanship bore throughout its history all indicated its main function, namely, providing the required services to the UQU academic staff, employees, and other personnel of non-Saudi contracted affiliates or seconded staff.
Mission:
Enable the UQU to achieve its objectives by providing highly efficient human resources, qualifying them, and providing them with the appropriate high-quality and proficient services.
Objectives:
- Attracting a qualified and talented team of Saudi and non-Saudi faculty members to join the UQU academic staff.
- Appointing highly qualified administrative, health and technical competencies.
- Providing administrative and financial services to the UQU affiliates and staff, at world-class standards.
- Providing the appropriate environment for the UQU affiliates and staff to enable them to perform their duties easily and conveniently.
- Automating services and procedures provided to the UQU affiliates and staff.
- Increasing the beneficiaries' satisfaction with the services provided by the deanship.
