Message from the Vice Dean for Development and Quality

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 

All praise be to Allah, Who taught by the pen, taught man that which he knew not. And may peace and blessings be upon the most honorable Prophet, Muhammad, the educator of the scholars and the role model for the righteous and successful, and upon his family and Companions.

I would like, first of all, to express, on my own behalf and on behalf of my colleagues at the College of Engineering Vice Deanship for Development and Quality at Al-Qunfudhah, my pleasure and honor to extend a warm welcome to you on the Deanship's website page. I hope that you like it, and find its contents informative and useful.

The Vice Deanship for Development and Quality, through its units and committees, seeks to disseminate the culture of quality and development, and also ensure meeting the standards of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation, and the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. By accomplishing this, it can guarantee high quality of performance in all its academic programs, and contribute to the achievement of the college's vision, mission, and objectives, which pursue excellence in scientific and research work and the improvement of the quality of its outputs. This is in order to become competitive, and realize local and regional leadership.

The vice deanship also attaches great importance to training and education programs, and skill development for all the UQU affiliates as well as the entire community, to ensure their effective contribution to enhancing performance. This is affected through conducting training programs and quality workshops, and preparing strategic and developmental plans to help foster the principle of constant development and improvement, which will enable us to keep pace with global development that serves, in the first place, the interest of the students.

Another significant aspect of the vice deanship's mission centers on promoting and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship at the level of the college. This is in addition to supporting innovations and creative research, and entrepreneurship ideas of students and academic members. This contributes to the achievement of the Kingdom's Vision for 2030 of becoming a pioneering community, with a knowledge-based economy.

In conclusion, we ask Almighty Allah to guide us all to do what is beneficial and good, and direct our steps, and yours, toward serving our dear country and college.
