Mission
Providing training and preparing cadres who are highly qualified in oral and dental public health for different sectors and who are capable of providing outstanding health services for the community and Hajj and Umrah by contributing actively to scientific research in providing community needs and services, which include spreading health awareness and education. This is in addition to conducting oral and dental health examinations and providing preventive and treatment services by activating partnerships at the local, regional and international levels.
Objectives
- Enhancing the university role in serving the community and pilgrims by encouraging the college affiliates, including students, academic staff members and employees, to participate effectively in the volunteering work.
- Developing and preparing medical cadres to serve the community in the field of oral and dental health.
- Activating partnerships and cooperation with other colleges interested in community services and the three sectors.
- Strengthening relationships between the college and community groups and supporting partnerships and community solidarity between the college of dentistry and the community.
- Studying and analyzing oral and dental problems with the objective of planning the community's preventive and curative programs.
- Educating the community about oral and dental health problems by activating community health awareness and education programs.
- Providing outstanding medical services, in terms of care, prevention, and treatment, for community members through the college's specialized and general clinics.
- Providing medical consultations and services in order to be the main reference in the region in the field of oral and dental health.
- Preparing and dispatching medical convoys to serve pilgrims and residents in remote areas.
- Providing medical services for people with special needs and the elderly.
- Highlighting and marketing the university in the media through social communication channels.
