In 2019 A.C., and as a wonderful and encouraging gesture from the Deanship of Scientific Research, an annual honor was organized for the UQU academic staff members and researchers who publish the highest number of research papers in indexed scientific journals within the list of the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) at Clarivate Analytics. The standard for the honor is to publish (5) research papers or more during the year in these journals.
Among the honored academic staff members in 2018 was Dr. Hussein Hasan Abulreesh, who published (5) research papers in ISI journal and who for the second year in a row his name was included in the list of the most published researchers; he published (7) research papers in ISI journals during 2019.
The list also included other academic staff members from the Department of Biology: Prof. Khalid Al-Banna, and His Excellency the late Dr. Ibrahim Othman (may Allah have mercy on him).
