You can add and delete courses with the approval of the department (the student’s department or the department offering the course). However, following and maintaining the study plan is preferable.
Students can transfer from one department to another if they fulfill the following conditions: - Students should have spent at least one semester at their college, excluding the semesters in which the students have postponed or have excused themselves from their study. - Students should submit a request to change their major automatically during the regular period, according to the UQU calendar. - The student’s remaining regular period of study should be sufficient to fulfil the graduation prerequisites. - Students who have dropped out, withdrawn, or have been dismissed during this semester are not entitled to transfer from one major to another. - Students are not entitled to transfer from one major to another unless they have passed more than half the number of hours of the study plan.
In the event that the student is transferred from another university outside Makkah or outside the Kingdom, please bring the student’s academic record and description of the previous courses that have been passed, to consider the possibility of making course equivalency for them. If the student is transferred from one of the departments of Umm Al-Qura University (internal transfer), please submit an online application to the Results and Equivalencies Department at the Deanship of Admission and Registration (Conduct 'Equivalency' for Courses Previously Studied by the Student) at the following link: https://uqu.sa/znQ7mz. The application can also be submitted in person by visiting the department to which the transfer was made to submit the academic record and description of previously studied courses.
Please contact the professors of the courses, in which the student received excellent grades, via email and then coordinate with the department's secretariat to have it stamped by the department offering the course.
In the event that the certificate is not available at the graduate's department, please visit the website of the Deanship of Admission to register and submit an inquiry to the graduation department, via the academic remote services provided at the following link: https://uqu.edu.sa/dadregis/87059.
