As part of the Umm Al-Qura University's role in supporting government sectors in the field of training, development, and qualification, His Excellency the Dean of the Applied College, Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Furaih, in his office at noon today, Thursday, 3 Ramadan 1442 A.H., received His Excellency Major General Nasir bin Uthman Al-Nasir, the Assistant Director of Public Security for Training Affairs, His Excellency Brigadier General Hamad bin Masoud Al-Luhaidan, Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Director of Program Design and the Development Department for Training Affairs, His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah bin Mu'taq Al-Qahtani, Director of the Security Programs Division for Training Affairs, and a number of public security leaders. This took place in the presence of His Excellency the Head of the Department of Training, Dr. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul-Rahman Eidi, and His Excellency the Head of the Department of Diplomas, Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Muhammad Bashawri.
This meeting comes after the college, represented by the Training Department, concluded a number of training programs provided to public security personnel.
His Excellency Major General Nasir Al-Nasir appreciated the support of the President of the University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, represented in the efforts of the Applied College in training public security personnel. The Applied College trained 800 public security employees in three training programs, starting from the month of Rabi` Al-Thani, under the follow-up of His Excellency Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah bin Ali Al-Ghamdi, Director of the Education Division.
Public security personnel received the following training programs:
A group of academic staff members from among the university participated in the training.
His Excellency the Major General also expressed the desire of the Public Security to continue this cooperation in training public security personnel in qualitative development and skill training courses.
His Excellency the Dean of the Applied College welcomed this cooperation in the service of the country and in seeking to achieve integration between the various sectors of the state. He praised the support received by the college from the President of the University, Prof. Moaddi bin Muhammad Aal Madh-hab, and expressed the readiness of the Applied College, with its employees and all its energies, to do everything that serves our religion, homeland, and citizens.
Next, everyone adjourned to the college meeting room, where a video introducing the college and its efforts in serving the community and its various sectors was presented.
In the end, His Excellency the Major General, Nasir Al-Nasir, presented some souvenirs to His Excellency the Dean of the Applied College, Prof. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Furaih, His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Rahim bin Abdul-Rahman Eidi, and His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Rahman bin Muhammad Bashawri in thankfulness of their efforts on the occasion of the conclusion of this year's training programs for public security personnel.
