A training workshop entitled: "The Role of the Academic Advisor", was held and presented by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al-Zilai, Vice Dean of Admission and Registration and an academic staff member at the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, on Sunday, 4 April 2021 A.C.

The workshop, which targeted all university affiliates, including students and academic staff, shed light on edifying the students on academic advising. The discussion tackled the significance of academic advising, the duties of the academic advisor, academic advising skills, cases that call for the intervention of the academic advisor, the relationship between the academic advisor and the student, a clarification of the student’s academic movements, as well as some general instructions.
