Within the framework of the activities of the Makkah Cultural Forum, in its current pioneering session which was held under the slogan: ‘How to Be a Role Model in the Digital World’, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Al-Marhabi, an academic staff member at the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, on behalf of his research team (Dr. Ahmad Al-Battari and Dr. Adel Bahaddad), was pleased to present the idea of their research project and receive the Makkah Digital Gate Award for Research and Innovation. His Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, the Governor of Makkah Region, in the presence of his deputy Badr bin Sultan, crowned the winners of the KAUST Challenge and the winning research in the Makkah Digital Gate for Research and Innovation, which is one of the initiatives of the Makkah Cultural Forum.
