The College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (female section), in cooperation with the Training Department in Al-Qunfudhah Public Hospital, organized a training course entitled: "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation", as part of the UQU Initiative of "A Healthy Heart Environment". The course, which targeted the female staff of the college, was held on Monday, 8 Sha`ban 1442 A.H.

The presentation introduced cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how it is performed. An explanation was given on how to treat the injured person and how to use the defibrillator device on adults, children, and infants. Moreover, the course included practical training on how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Wrapping up the course, each female trainee received a certified paramedic card and the course completion certificate from the Saudi Heart Association.
