College of Arabic Language received a mission from the Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization department, University of Malaysia. The mission was headed by Prof. Ramzi Arifeen, who was received by the Dean, Dr. Abdullah bin Nasir Al-Qarni, while female members of the mission were received by Dr. Hassa Al-Rashud at female students’ branch. Members of the mission were given an overview on UQU’s 70 year old history and the inception of College of Arabic Language almost 40 years ago.

The dean, vice-deans, and department deputy-heads listened to an address by Prof. Ramzi, in which he introduced The National University of Malaysia and the department of Arabic Studies and Islamic Civilization, then expressed request to cooperate with the UQU College of Arabic Language in different Arabic language disciplines. At the end of meeting, the Malaysian mission was presented with souvenirs from the college.
