The College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah is proud to have participated in the ‘Computer Vision Hackathon’ held by the Thakaa Center. The student Shahd Abdullah Al-Zubaidi participated with a program that reveals the vulnerability of the security and safety systems, relying on computer vision to confirm the application of the systems.

The hackathon was held on 14 February 2021 A.C., and lasted for five days. The idea of the college was one of the twelve ideas that were recommended and distributed to interested investors.

It is worth mentioning that the hackathon aimed to support the talented nationals and to enable them to create smart solutions that represent investment opportunities.
