In the framework of administrative development for the employees of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (female section) and out of the keenness of the College Vice Deanship to develop the administrative staff, the college held a training course entitled, "Technical and Security Skills", prepared and presented by Ms. Tahani Al-Zubaidi, Ms. Manal Bin Mahfouz, and Ms. Alawiya Al-Hasani. The aim of the course was to develop the technical skills of the trainees and inform them of the practices that must be followed to avoid security breaches.
The course included valuable information about the Windows operating system, dealing with Google professionally, and protecting devices and data. It also touched on the skills of dealing with folders, windows and programs within the system, speeding up the operating system and increasing the level of performance, dealing with the Google Chrome search engine, knowing ways to protect privacy on the Internet, learning the practices that must be followed to protect passwords, and being cautious when using email, while at the same time providing practical applications of these skills. Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Hanan Al-Ghamdi, expressed her thanks and appreciation to the course presenters for their participation.
