The College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (female section) held a ceremony commemorating the sixth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance under the slogan: "We will keep our pledge and remain loyal...We renew our allegiance and loyalty", on Thursday, 4 Rabi` Al-Thani, 1442 A.H., via the WebEx platform.

The ceremony was opened with a presentation on the sixth anniversary of the pledge of allegiance by the two students Yusra Al-Suhaimi and Abeer Al-Shaqifi, followed by a speech delivered by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Hanan Al-Ghamdi, confirming that the pledge of allegiance embodies the strong bond between the Saudi citizens and their rational leadership. Next, a speech was delivered by the academic staff of the college, represented by Ms. Muna Mu`tad Al-Ufi, and the student Maryam Al-Sandali gave a poetic recitation on this occasion. Afterward, the two students Asal Al-Hazmi and Lujain Al-Faqih presented an interview on the occasion, and a competition was held by the two students Shahd Al-Zubaidi and Halima Al-Zahrani. The presentation was organized by the two students Aminah Al-Falahi and Fatimah Al-Ghamdi.

All participants affirmed that the ceremony for the renewal of the sixth pledge of allegiance was a renewal of feelings of loyalty to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, the leader who won the love of his people, assumed a refined status among world leaders, and strove to enhance the various aspects of life for the Saudi citizens. The efforts are mirrored in the enhancement of education, which contributes to the advancement of man’s ideas, strengthens his role in building the society, and enables him to become a true contributor in building the promising future of the country, Allah willing. The participants also renewed the same feelings of loyalty for His Highness the Crown Prince, may Allah safeguard him, asking Allah (Exalted be He) to bless them with health and wellness.
