Coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, under the auspices of the College of Business Administration and in cooperation with the Masar Training Platform of the Wadi Makkah Company, the Department of Marketing organized a field visit for the female students of the College of Business Administration to Wadi Makkah Technology Company at Umm Al-Qura University.
The meeting was attended by Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Hawazin Al-Zubaidi, Her Excellency the Deputy Head of the Department of Marketing, Dr. Abrar Bayazid, and a number of college students from various departments.
The visit began with a field tour to learn about the company's various activities. This was followed by an interactive dialogue workshop entitled: "The Concept of Entrepreneurship and How to Transform an Idea into a Project", in which the students' opinions and perspectives on the concept of entrepreneurship were reviewed in an innovative way. During the workshop, some students' entrepreneurial projects were uncovered, and ways to develop them with the company's entrepreneurs were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, a number of male and female student entrepreneurs provided advice to stimulate creative and entrepreneurial thinking for the female students wishing to create or develop their entrepreneurial projects.
