Under the generous patronage of Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi, Dean of the College of Education, a scientific meeting was held by the College, represented by the Unit of Research and Statistical Consulting. The meeting was titled, “Research Programs Grants & Support by Scientific Research Deanship.” It was held at the College’s theatre on Tuesday 24^th Jumada I 1438H at 10:00 am.  

The meeting was attended by Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Ahdal (Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research), Dr. Dhiab Al-Maliki (Vice-Dean of Development for Measurement and Assessment), as well as the College’s vice deans, heads and assistant heads of departments and postgraduate students.

The event started with a Qur’anic recitation followed by a speech by the Dean of the College. He commended the efforts by the Vice-Deanship for Postgraduate Studies under the leadership of Dr. Dakheelullah Al-Dahmani, and the upcoming events at the Research and Statistical Consulting Unit. Then, he thanked the Deanship of Scientific Research for continuous cooperation, services and efforts for the sake of raising the level of scientific research at such dear university.

In the same context, Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Ahdal (Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research) thanked the College of Education for taking the initiative and being keen to achieve mutual benefit. Moreover, he encouraged staff members and students to participate in the currently available grants through browsing the website of the Deanship, indicating that any queries or suggestions that would enrich such services were welcomed and received. He also promised to mention the programs of future research grants, God willing. Then, Dr. Ali Amin gave a detailed presentation on the services provided by the Deanship of Scientific Research, and the research grant programs for staff members and postgraduate students. He identified the effective programs, their conditions and admission methods. The presentation included a series of rich interventions from students and staff members concerning research projects and their allocated method of support. 

At the end of the event, both Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Ahdal (Dean of the Deanship of Scientific Research) and Dr. Ali Amin (the Lecturer in the introductory meeting) were honored at 12:00 pm.
