Report on the Activities of Female Student Affairs for the Second Semester, Jumada Al-Thani (1440–1441 A.H.)

Under the auspices of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs and the supervision and follow-up of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Nuwair Bajabir, the female student clubs resumed their activities for the second semester as follows:

The Vice Deanship started activities with an educational awareness seminar for students on Coronavirus, in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah, on Monday, 9 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college campus, and on Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college extension.

Activities of the Clubs:

The first step was taken by "Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib" team, in the Religious Awareness Club, which held two programs. The first program, entitled: "And None Is Granted It Except the Owner of Great Fortune", was held on Tuesday, 10 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The second program, which was held on Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., was an introductory presentation about the Religious Awareness Club, "Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib" team. The event introduced the club's upcoming programs and activities during this semester. It also announced the start of the weekly program entitled: "Inside the Prophet's House".

The Computer Club organized a number of activities, the first of which was an instructive awareness seminar on the Coronavirus, which was held in cooperation with the Directorate of Health Affairs, on Monday, 16 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The club also organized two lectures entitled: "Academic Writing Course", on Tuesday and Wednesday, 17 and 18 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. Moreover, a course on writing a CV was presented on Wednesday, 18 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.

In cooperation with the Vice Deanship of the College, the Vice Deanship conducted a flu vaccination campaign on Monday, 16 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college extension, and on Tuesday, 17 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college campus.

In the context of raising awareness of the Coronavirus, Ghiras Volunteer Club implemented a volunteer initiative with the slogan: "Prevention is Better than Cure", under the supervision of Ms. Taqwa Abdul-Karim, on Tuesday, 17 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.

The Literary Club held a morning activity entitled: "My Ambition Is My Future", on Monday, 16 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., which was presented by members of "My Language Is a Gift" team, under the supervision of Dr. Shadhliyyah Al-Sayyid.

Moreover, the "Al-Kalim Al-Tayyib" team, in the Religious Awareness Club, presented a program, on Thursday, 19 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college theater. The program was entitled: "Tranquility Lies Within".

The deanship also held the Profession Introductory Day, under the slogan of "Employment Fields: Aspirations and Requirements", on Sunday, 2 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college theater. The program contained several sections targeting female graduates, such as CV writing, personal interview skills, and other matters that benefit students after graduation.

The Computer Club conducted the "Avatar Design" course on Wednesday, 25 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H.

In cooperation with the Department of Chemistry, on Wednesday, 25 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the Vice Deanship conducted the "Laboratory's Safe Work Protocol" workshop, targeting students of scientific departments.

Furthermore, the Literary Club set up a program entitled: "Talent under the Microscope", on Wednesday, 25 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the activities hall.

Dr. Sahar Al-Sa`di, the Supervisor of the Counseling and Guidance Unit, presented a course on "The University Regulations and Laws, and the Role of the Counseling and Guidance Unit", on Thursday, 26 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., at the college campus.

This month activities concluded on Sunday, 29 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., with a course on "Mental Disorders and Their Impact on Mental Health", presented by Dr. Sahar Al-Sa`di at the college theater.
