Under the sponsorship of the Vice Dean of Female Student Affairs at Al-Qunfudhah University College, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazimi, and the supervision of the Vice Deanship of Female Student Affairs, the Future Mother Program was established within the framework of cooperation and activation of the community partnerships of Al-Qunfudhah University College with the Elaf Family Development Center affiliated to Al-Birr Charitable Society. The program included two seminars, the first of which was entitled, "Did the Social Media Make Your Child an Orphan?" The second seminar was entitled, "Adolescent Behavioral Problems and Methods of Dealing with Them". The two seminars were held on Monday and Tuesday, 23 and 24 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., in the college theater. The lectures were offered by the trainers Ms. Hamoudah Al-Di`is and Ms. Noura Al-Zubaidi.
The seminars were conducted as an outcome of the community partnership with the Elaf Center. The program included courses, competitions, and valuable prizes for the participants. The program was attended by the Vice Dean of the College, the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, and the Director of the Elaf Center, Ms. Aminah Al-Muntashiri, as well as the college vice deans, deputy heads of the departments, members of the administrative and teaching staff, employees of the Elaf Center, a large group of female students, and the supervisor of the Counseling and Guidance Unit, Dr. Sahar Al-Saadi.
At the conclusion of the program and seminars, the employees of the Elaf Center were honored by the Vice Dean of the College. In turn, the center's employees presented certificates of appreciation to the participants and the attendees, and thanked the Vice Dean of the College and all the college employees for the warm reception, and for giving the opportunity to introduce the center activities to the college students.
