On Thursday, 12 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H., the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah held its regular meeting for students of the internship year to follow up on their training in hospitals. This meeting was held under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Naif bin Abdullah Al-Suhaimi, the Vice Dean for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Murhaf Fouad Karni, and Prof. Ashraf Uwais, the college academic staff member.
The Vice Dean of the College started the meeting by stating the objectives of the regular meetings for students of the internship year. He also pointed out to them the necessity of commitment and diligence in acquiring skills and diversifying their expertise from the training in hospitals and the Saudi Red Crescent centers.
The Vice Dean of the College for Hospital Affairs, Dr. Murhaf Karni, informed the students of the various activities sponsored by the college, such as a conference with employers to facilitate communication between graduates and various recruiters, including the training with the Red Crescent and graduate training courses. Moreover, His Excellency the Vice Dean for Hospital Affairs stressed that he personally monitors the performance of students of the internship year by visiting their training sites and meeting with those in charge of the training in different hospitals.
Next, the students submitted their requests to the college administration, and handed out training reports to the Vice Dean of the College for Hospital Affairs to read the hospital evaluation of the performance of internship students and received letters with details of the posts they had been allocated to in hospitals and the Saudi Red Crescent during the remaining period of the compulsory training year (Internship Year).
At the end of the meeting, commemorative photographs were taken with the Vice Dean of the College, the vice deans, and the college academic and administrative staff.
