Under the kind patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Alawi Bamahdi, and in the presence of His Excellency the Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazimi, and a number of academic staff and students, the Public Relations and Media Unit took part in covering the lecture delivered by His Excellency Dr. Lutfi Dabaish in the College of Engineering, entitled: 'Importance of Humanities and Social Subjects to the Advancement of Engineering and Health'
In his lecture, His Excellency Dr. Lutfi tackled several common issues between the humanities and social work, which reflect positively on health and engineering advancement and also the difficulties it faces, along with the solutions.
On the other hand, the Dean of the College of Engineering, His Excellency Dr. Alawi Bamahdi, emphasized the importance of this lecture and its implications for the scientific and intellectual arena.
His Excellency Dr. Lutfi Dabaish stressed his keenness to hold several similar purposeful lectures at Al-Qunfudhah University College. He also stressed the keenness and intertest of His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi, in conducting scientific and cultural lectures that benefit students and researchers, enhance the scientific standing of the college, and elevate it to the ranks of the well-established and prestigious universities in the domain of scientific and cognitive research.
At the end of the lecture, His Excellency Dr. Lutfi thanked the Dean of the College of Engineering and the attendees for their positive interaction through open discussion and contributions.
