Under the patronage of her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Hawazin Al-Zubaidi, and the supervision of the Deputy Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Ms. Lamia Berzi, and a member of the Entrepreneurship Committee in the Commercial Chamber of Makkah who is an expert in organizing activities and the cooperative at the Department of Tourism and Hotels Management, College of Business Administration, Ms. Khadijah Abbas, female students of the department participated, in collaboration with the Commercial Chamber in Makkah, in organizing an activity entitled "My Experience." It aimed at displaying creative and entrepreneurial projects.
A number of entrepreneurs from the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region participated in this activity to present their projects. They talked about the causes of their success and the obstacles they faced upon launching these projects. One of the outstanding projects presented in this activity was the Sawwah (Tourist) project, which was organized by five female students from the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management. This project aims to organize touristic tours for children under the age of 10 years to inform them about tourist destinations and natural resources in the Kingdom.
The attendants, the sponsors of the activity, and the officials at the Commercial Chamber praised the high proficiency that female students from the department showed in organizing the activity.
It is worth noting that the "My Experience" activity will conclude its works on the coming Wednesday with varied workshops that discuss the most important issues in entrepreneurship. The Teaching Assistant at the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Mr. Muhammad Basindoh, participated with a topic on startups and Instagram.
