The activities of the library of Al-Qunfudhah University College (female section)

The following activities took place on Monday, 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.:

• A visit by the preparatory year students under the supervision of Dr. Shadhliyah, from 8:30 until 9:30 a.m.
• A visit by the preparatory year students under the supervision of Dr. Sahar, who teaches the "Introduction to Information Science" course, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.

During the visit, the following took place:

• Students were taught the ways of arranging books on the library shelves, and the classification system used in the library.
• Students were acquainted with the way of preparing bibliography cards for books.
• The program of the book loan service was introduced to the students.
• The e-search service was explained.
• The way to access to King Abdullah University Library was delineated.
• Students were taught how to access to the Saudi Digital Library and avail themselves of its services.
