The Intellectual Awareness Unit at Umm Al-Qura University held a scientific meeting at Al-Qunfudhah University College on Monday, 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal 1441 A.H. The meeting covered the following topics:

First: ‘An Introductory Overview of the Unit’, delivered by the Deputy Head of the Unit, Prof. Ayish Al-Bishri.

Second: ‘The Diverse Forms of Intellectual Warfare against the Kingdom and It Specifically Targeting the Youth’, such as by questioning the sources of religion and its principles, undermining the duty of obedience to the rulers, and adopting immoderate stances. This talk was delivered by one of the members of the Intellectual Awareness Unit, Dr. Salih Darbash Al-Zahrani

Third: ‘Intellectual Deviation and Being Protected from It’, delivered by one of the members of the Intellectual Awareness Unit, Prof. Abdullah Halfan Al-Asmari.

The meeting was conducted under the supervision of the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar Al-Hazzazi, and was attended by the Vice Deans of the College, Dr. Ali Al-Eissa and Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazimi, and a number of academic staff and students. A live broadcast of the meeting was transmitted to the female section.
