Under the patronage of His Excellency the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Muataz, the Head of the Department of Business Administration, Dr. Ammar Jaafar, and the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration, Dr. Hawazin Al-Zubaidi, as well as the supervision and coordination of the Deputy Head of the Department of Business Administration, Her Excellency Dr. Alaa Tayyib, and the academic staff members: Ms. Rihab Saftah, Ms. Fadiah Al-Juhani, and Ms. Ghufran Dahlawi, 60 female students from the Department of Business Administration visited Wadi Makkah Technology Company on Wednesday, 9 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H.
The male and female students of the College of Business Administration are one of the categories which the company targets and considers important. This trip was organized to keep the students informed about the activities of the company, and the chances, support and qualification offered to startups and creative ideas.
The program started with the female students being received by the Marketing Specialist, Ms. Maisar Jabr, and the Public Relations Official, Ms. Hadil Attas, from Wadi Makkah Technology Company. A presentation was offered to the female students by Ms. Maisar Jabr about the vision and mission of the company, and the most important programs offered, such as growth incubators and Masar. They then made a tour of the building.
Next, two courses were offered to the female students from the Masar Program. The first course entitled, "From an Idea to a Website", was offered by Eng. Esraa Radian. The second course entitled, "Creativity: an Example of a Commercial Business", was offered by Mr. Muhammad Nuwaitu.
On her part, Ms. Maisar Jabr expressed her thanks to the College of Business Administration for choosing Wadi Makkah Technology Company to be the first station for the female students' visit. This helps in raising the expectations and initiatives through participation in the programs of the company. Moreover, they said they looked forward to receiving the female students' projects and ideas in the near future.
