His Excellency the President of Umm Al-Qura University, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, honored the College of Computers and Information Systems with the 'Golden Shield of Excellence' due to the excellence of its affiliates in activating the e-learning system, as the college came first at the level of the university.
The Dean of the College of Computers and Information Systems, Dr. Majid Al-Qathami, received the shield in the honoring ceremonies held on Tuesday, 8 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H. This ceremony was organized by the Deanship of E-Learning and Distance Education in the presence of the vice presidents, deans of the colleges, deans of the supporting deanships, and the academic staff members, at King Abdulaziz Support Hall in Al-Abdiyyah.
The Dean of the College of Computers and Information Systems, Dr. Majid Al-Qathami, expressed his grateful thanks to the affiliates of the college for their excellence, and congratulated them for this achievement.
